That's Aussie Dave Bigot.

I caught this on ABC News and immediatelly wondered to what extent Dave had ignored it. Given he now titles his posts "Today in Israel", I expected some kind of attempt to downplay the episode. And....absolutely nothing. Well, I guess that's one way to downplay it.

Now Dave is under no obligation to cover every little event, but given that he poses as some kind of anti-bigotry crusader, it's valid to enquire if this is a partisan or a principled position. It only takes one look at this pit of anti-Palestinian bile and venom to know the answer, but I'll consider the point in isolation so as not to judge him on past behaviour.

So, I posted the link to the story. Dave's response,

"Yes, pretty much the whole country disagrees with the actions of these people. "

So you say, but what do you think Dave?

"A minority group is behaving badly"

Uh-huh.

Followed by the usual,

"...you really do hate Jews?...Anti-Semites not welcome here...I will continue to block your IP address".

The additional irony was that the post I commented on was mostly about an announcment from the PA PM that Jews would be welcome in a Palestinian state. Source for rejoicing, or even encouragement? Hah!! Rather, cause for Dave to pour out some more of his bile and vilification - 'it can't be true 'cause the evil Palestinians hate Jews'. And having just defended the above assault on the grounds that they don't represent the government of Israel, Dave links to a video of an individual Palestinian to vilify all Palestinians. Nice work Dave.

But that's not all...

Just the previous post, Dave was all on his high-horse over a female Palestinian journalist who had been threatened with arrest at a Gaza beach. It was all about human rights and women rights. But ultra-orthodox Jews beating up and drowning a female journalist in phlegm.........ah, the sound of silence.

Brave defender of human rights or a partisan scum-bag with Bigot Spectrum Disorder? Too easy..........
